For this reason, bibi® baby bottles are made of glass, polyamide (PA) or polypropylene (PP). These materials are free of harmful substances. This in contrast to polycarbonate, from which the controversial bisphenol A (BPA) can leach.
If BPA is ingested into the infant’s body, it acts in a similar way to the hormone oestrogen. Immature hormone systems exposed to it can react particularly sensitively. Moreover, there are concerns that BPA can cause overweight, obesity, diabetes, cancer and genetic defects.
Using polyamide (PA) and polypropylene (PP), bibi® relies on materials that are not only impact resistant and boil-proof, but also considered absolutely harmless to health.
